SRINAGAR: The Fully Funded Swiss Summer Student Programme 2025 is now open for applications. Switzerland’s prestigious programme offers a fully funded nine-week summer internship, welcoming students from across the world.

The initiative is supported by the Swiss Institute of Particle Physics (CHIPP) and the Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT) and is organised by five leading Swiss universities, including ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich, the University of Bern, EPFL, and the University of Geneva.

The deadline for applications is March 16, 2025, with the programme running from July 14 to September 14, 2025. The financial benefits cover health insurance, visa expenses, airfare travel expenses, accommodation, and food.

The internship is open to international students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Medical Physics, Engineering, Computing Science, or Materials Science. Doctoral students are not eligible to apply. Applicants must remain enrolled at a university for the entire duration of the programme.

The application process requires candidates to submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, application form, academic transcripts, details of previous research projects, and reference letters.
