Sayeed’s move follows his resignation from the PDP on September 2 a decision he conveyed in a letter to party president Mehbooba Mufti. In his resignation, Sayeed cited a “heavy heart” but wished the party well, reflecting on his tenure as both a valuable learning experience and a commitment to public service.
