SRINAGAR: Senior politician and former legislator Taj Mohi-Ud-Din is set to return to the Congress party soon.
Taj confirmed his decision to rejoin Congress.
“I have planned to rejoin Congress,” he said but did not reveal the exact date of his return.
Taj had resigned from Congress in August 2022 to join Ghulam Nabi Azad’s Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP). However, he left DPAP in August last year and contested the 2024 Assembly elections as an independent candidate from the Uri constituency. (KNO)
