Even the Left seems to be right in embracing a bit of capitalism. Yousuf Tarigami had agriculture land at five villages and non-agriculture land at three places in 2004. There are significant additions by way of commercial buildings and more but all valued below a crore even in 2014.
Tarigami, who is contesting from Kulgam assembly segment on the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI (M) ticket has shown his property worth Rs 1,04,48,772 in his affidavit mandatory for every contestant to submit before Election Commission of India (ECI).
This includes Tarigami’s Rs 9, 48,772 movable and Rs 95, 00,000 immovable properties.
His immovable property includes his agricultural and non-agricultural land in Tarigami Kulgam and Humhama Srinagar.
