SRINAGAR: Ahmad Ziad, the younger brother of senior Congress leader and CWC member Tariq Hameed Karra passed away on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday in New Delhi.
As per family sources, Ziad was laid to rest in Srinagar on late Friday night.
Ziad, as per family sources, had his own personal business.
The news of his death was broken on Twitter by Karra himself who wrote, “My younger brother Ahmed Ziad left for his heavenly abode, suddenly and untimely, during the intervening night of 15th and 16th April in New Delhi. His mortal remains will be reaching Srinagar by 10 pm tonight and will be laid to rest tonight itself.”
Meanwhile, a J&K Pradesh Congress Committee delegation led by President Ghulam Ahmad Mir visited Karra to offer their condolences.
