Former minister Tassaduq Mufti met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan Srinagar on Monday.
Mufti discussed with Governor, besides, various issues of public importance about the work done for the improvement of facilities of various tourist destinations in the state and the conservation of Dal and Wular Lakes, which are major tourist attractions for the visitors.
He apprised Governor about the need to carry out proper and planned development of the world famous tourist resort of Pahalgam.
Governor observed the need to develop environmentally friendly and aesthetically attractive tourist places for promoting sustainable eco-friendly tourism in J&K and assured Mufti that all out efforts are being made to restore and rejuvenate Dal lake.
