SRINAGAR: Cardiac arrest spree continues to hit Kashmir valley as in yet another shocking incident a sudden cardiac arrest left a government teacher dead in Trehgam town of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.
Sources said that a government teacher identified as Zahoor Ahmad Dar son of late Mohammad Ashraf Dar, a resident of Vidhya Nagar locality of Trehgam suffered a massive cardiac arrest on Tuesday evening at his home.
He was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital where doctors on duty declared him dead on arrival.
Zahoor was posted at Government middle School Hirri Trehgam. He is survived by his mother, wife and two children.
As per family members, funeral prayers will be held around 9 in the morning on Wednesday.
His sudden death sends shock waves across the region with people expressing grief and sympathy with his family.
“Shocking News For Me…. I Cant believe and stop my tears……. ????? God, we have wronged ourselves, and if you do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will be among the losers,” wrote his friend Showkat Saakib on Facebook.
