SRINAGAR: A teenager drowned in river Jhelum at Soiteng Lasjan area of Srinagar on Monday afternoon even as rescue operation has been launched, officials sources said here.
Quoting official sources the news agency KNO reported that a 14-year-old Asrar Ahmad Dar of Padshahi Bagh drowned in river Jhelum at Soiteng Lasjan while talking a bath.
They said that the rescue operation has been launched by army and local police to fish out the body of teenager.
