A 16-year-old boy died on Sunday evening after he drowned into a stream in Handwara town of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Reports said that the boy drowned on Sunday evening while he was taking a bath in a stream near his home in Ganai Mohalla village of Handwara.
The deceased has been identified as Abid Hussain, 16, son of Ghulam Hassan Tantray, a resident of Ganai Mohalla Handwara, and his body has been handed over to the family for last rites.
