Tehreek -e- Hurriyat Leaders Mohammad Ashraf Laya, Umer Adil Dar and Ishfaq Ah Khan on Sunday joined Protest march at Eidgah Barzulla Srinagar demanded mortal remains of their son.
“A large of people of the area including men and women also the father of slain Mudasir Ahmad participated in the protest and demanded the return of the body of the slain,” the statement said.
Mudasir according to the family was killed during an encounter at Kupwara area of north Kashmir.
“Amid pro-freedom slogans TeH leaders while addressing the gathering, paid glowing tributes to slain Mudasir and expressed solidarity with his family. Leaders demanded the return of the body of slain Mudasir to family,” the statement reads.
“Leaders further said that the unparalleled sacrifices rendered by Kashmiris for the freedom cause would not be allowed to go waste,” the statement said.
