Tehreek-e-Hurriyat delegation visits families of slain militants

A delegation of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat led by Bashir Ahmad Qureshi Tuesday visited the families of militants killed in Awoora encounter yesterday.

The delegation paid heartfelt tributes to the slain militants and said that these “valiant” sons of the nation laid their precious lives for a “sacred cause”.

While lashing out at the rulers in Delhi and their “stooges” in state, Bashir said that it is because of their “arrogance” that they are facing “worst situation” and our fundamental rights are being trampled with “military might”.

A statement of the issued here read, “Hailing sacrifices of these brave hearts, Bashir Ahmad Qureshi said that our youth never accepted hegemony of India and despite belonging to well-off families and highly educated, they prefer to resent and resist the forced occupation of India.”

Bashir according to the statement said, “We are committed with our cause and no power on earth can deter us from pursuing the freedom struggle.”
