Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) on Friday paid tributes to Sheikh Aziz who was killed on this day in 2008 while leading a march of fruit growers towards the Line of Control (LoC) in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A delegation of TeH leaders, led by Umer Adil Dar, Mukhtar Sofi and Abdul Ahad, participated in a programme organized at Mazar-e-Shuhda in Eidgah to pay rich tributes to him.
Dar said Sheikh Aziz laid his life for Islam and freedom of Kashmir, not for secularism or nationalism.
