Tejinder Pal Singh Aman Appointed JKNC Youth Wing Provincial President for Jammu

   

SRINAGAR: Dr Farooq Abdullah, President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) and former Chief Minister, appointed Sardar Tejinder Pal Singh Aman as the Provincial President of the JKNC Youth Wing for Jammu Province. The appointment was announced during a programme at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu.

Tejinder Pal assumed charge in the presence of Dr Farooq Abdullah, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, former minister and Additional General Secretary Jammu Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, Provincial President JKNC Jammu Rattan Lal Gupta, MLA Ajaz Jan, MLA Altaf Kaloo, and other senior party leaders.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Farooq Abdullah highlighted the crucial role of youth in shaping the future of Jammu and Kashmir. “The youth are the backbone of our party and the driving force behind a progressive and peaceful J&K. I am confident that Sardar Tejinder Pal Singh Aman will uphold the values of the National Conference and work towards empowering young voices in the region,” he said. He also acknowledged the contributions of MLA Ajaz Jan in mobilising youth in Jammu and explained that, with Jan’s increased engagements in his constituency, Tejinder Pal Singh Aman has been elevated from District President Jammu Urban YNC to Provincial President to take the youth mobilisation forward.

Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, and Rattan Lal Gupta congratulated Aman on his new role, reaffirming JKNC’s commitment to empowering young and dynamic leaders. MLA Ajaz Jan extended his best wishes, emphasising that the Youth Wing plays a key role in encouraging constructive political participation among the younger generation.

After assuming charge, Tejinder Pal Singh Aman expressed gratitude to the party leadership for their confidence in him. He pledged to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and actively engage the youth in political and developmental initiatives.

The event marked a significant step in revitalising the party’s youth cadre, with senior leaders and workers pledging their support to Aman’s leadership.
