Third civilian injured in Tral grenade attack succumbs

The civilian who was injured in Tral grenade blast sucumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.

The slain  youth was admitted at SKIMS, Soura where he died today, sources in the hospital said.

He was identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Shiekh, 35, son of Ghulam Mohi ud Din Sheikh, a resident of Tral Payeen.

With the death of Sheikh, the toll in Tral attack reached three.

Suspected militants had lobbed a grenade at the cavalcade of R&B Minister Naeem Akhtar on last Thursday.

Two civilians had died while as many as 30 others got injured that day.

Soon as the news of Sheikh’s death reached his home town, an instant shutdown was observed by the local population.
