The Jammu and Kashmir government said that third flight with over 169 students from Bangladesh will land in Srinagar on Wednesday afternoon.

“3rd special flight from Dhaka to Srinagar today. 169 onboard. Those still in Bangladesh not to worry. There will be yet another flight,” government spokesman Rohit Kansal tweeted.

Sources said that the special Air India flight on Wednesday from Dhaka’s Shahjalal International Airport and will reach Srinagar by afternoon.

The government said arrangements are being made for their arrival in an orderly manner while adhering to the norms of social distancing and undertaking testing so as to ensure that timely action is taken to prevent any spread of Covid-19 in J&K.

On May 12, a batch of 169 and on May 8 a batch of 160 students studying in various professional colleges in Bangladesh arrived Srinagar.
