Suspected militants on Monday attacked a forces party in Aripal village of Tral town in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An official said that the suspected militants lobbed a grenade at the forces party but it missed the target and exploded on the roadside.
However, there were no immediate reports of any injury or damage.
This is the third grenade blast in Tral areas during the day.
Meanwhile, police and CRPF have cordoned off the area and searches are on to nab the assailants.
