Thousands of people on Tuesday participated in the funeral prayers of slain Hurriyat leader in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district.
An eyewitness said that thousands of people from various areas of the valley, especially from south Kashmir reached at the slain’s native village Budroo Achabal and participated in the funeral prayers of the slain leader.
The Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Hafizullah Mir was shot dead by unknown gunmen at his residence in Budroo Achabal. In the incident, Mir’s wife was also injured.
