SRINAGAR: Three army men were injured in an initial exchange of fire between militants and counter insurgent forces at Malwah area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
Taking to social networking site police spokesman quoting IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar wrote: “Exact location of #encounter is Malwah area. In the initial exchange of fire, 03 soldiers recieved minor injuries. #Operation in progress. Further details shall follow.”
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Malwah area in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
