Government forces on Wednesday claimed to have recovered three bags of explosives outside a CRPF camp in Rajouri district’s Sunderbani where schools have been ordered to be closed by the district administration as a precautionary measure.
Official sources said that a sentry of a CRPF camp at Sodra in Sunderbani area opened some warning shots and raised an alarm soon after he detected some suspicious movement near the paramilitary camp.

“During the searches, three bags with ammunition and explosive material so far have been recovered from the spot,” SSP who is leading the operation said.
PRO CRPF Ashish Kumar Jha said that no such attack was carried out by the militants on the paramilitary camp in Sunderbani. However, he said that the alert troops detected some suspicious movement and the search operation which was launched to trace out them is underway.
“A news about the attack on CRPF camp in Sunderbani today (28th Mar) morning is being aired in media. It is clarified that no such incident has happened and all the CRPF troops in Sunderbani are fine,” the spokesman said.
