SRINAGAR: The body of a man, who was in the e-rickshaw that fell into the Jhelum River near Lasjan bridge, was retrieved on Monday after three days, officials said.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that after strenuous efforts, the body was recovered today by rescuers.
He identified the deceased as Mukhtar Ahmad Sheikh of Srinagar’s Batmaloo.
Pertinently, on Saturday, an e-rickshaw fell into the Jhelum near Lasjan bridge, prompting a search and rescue operation to be launched.
