SRINAGAR: Flight services at Srinagar Airport were operating normally on Sunday, officials said, though three flights were cancelled owing to a NOTAM in effect at Delhi Airport.
The cancellation was confirmed by Srinagar airport authorities through a post on X, stating that three flights operating to and from Srinagar (SXR) had been cancelled due to restrictions at Delhi Airport. Passengers were advised to verify the latest flight status with their respective airlines before travelling to the airport.
Officials said the airport was experiencing light snowfall and rainfall. Minor snow accumulation was reported on the apron area, which is being regularly cleared by ground teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
“Flight operations are continuing, although some services may be delayed,” officials said, urging passengers to remain in contact with airlines for real-time updates.
Airport authorities also thanked passengers for their cooperation and patience amid the prevailing weather conditions.
