SRINAGAR: Three goats were killed and two others critically injured after a leopard attacked a herd in Hayatpura village of Manjakote area in Rajouri district.
The incident occurred while the livestock, owned by Mohd Nisar Khan, son of Mohd Shareif, was grazing in the area, according to local residents.
The leopard attacked the herd and killed three goats on the spot, while two others sustained critical injuries.
The incident has caused concern among residents, who have urged the Wildlife Department to take preventive measures to prevent further attacks on livestock in the area.
