SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday claimed to have arrested three hybrid militants in Srinagar and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition from them.
Quoting reliable sources news agency KDC reported that three hybrid militants Mohammad Iqbal Dobi son of Manzoor Ahmad Dobi, Rouf Dar son of Abdul Rashid Dar, Javid Ahmad Khanday son of Ghulam Hassan Khanday all residents of Pattan Baramulla were apprehended by joint parties of Police and Army’s 2 RR at a naka at Lawaypora NHW.
Consignment of 03 AK rifles, 02 Pistols, 09 Magazines and 200 rounds were recovered from their possession, they said.
A case under relevant sections of law is being registered in police station Shalteng and the investigation has been set into motion.
