Three Injured in Jammu Kashmir Road Mishap

   

SRINAGAR: At least three persons sustained injuries after a Tempo Traveller and a Baleno car collided near Karua area of Reasi district of Jammu Kashmir on Tuesday evening, officials said.

They said that the accident occurred at arround 5.30 when a Tempo Traveller bearing registration number JK14B-5041, coming from Katra towards Reasi, collided with a Baleno car bearing registration number JK11H-5030, which was heading from Reasi towards Katra, near Karua, Tehsil Reasi.

All the injured persons were immediately shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Reasi for treatment. Their condition was stated to be stable.

The injured were identified as Akhtar Ali (40), son of Barkat Ali, resident of Judela, Tehsil Arnas; Bindo Devi (40), wife of Kapoor Chand, resident of Narloo, Tehsil Tharkrakote; and Kapoor Chand (50), son of Mehtab Chand.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway.—(KNC)
