SRINAGAR: Three militants associated with outfit Lashkar-i-Toiba were killed in Jumagund area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday morning.
“All three militants killed, affiliated with proscribed militant outfit LeT. Identification being ascertained. Incriminating materials including arms & ammunition recovered,” police said in a tweet.
An official said that the gunfight broke out in Jumagund area on Thursday following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Jumagund area of Kupwara.
