SRINAGAR: Three medical establishments were sealed during a joint inspection drive by the Drug Control Organisation and Jammu and Kashmir Police in the Achabal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday for violations of drug control norms.
Officials said a total of 19 medical establishments were inspected during the operation. The three outlets sealed on the spot were Hope Chemists and Druggists Achabal, Parray Medical Store opposite SDH Achabal, and Dar and Rather Pharmacy Achabal.
Authorities said the action followed detection of violations of prescribed regulations during the inspection.
Reiterating their commitment to strict enforcement of drug laws, officials said such drives will continue in the future to ensure accountability in the pharmaceutical sector and safeguard public health.
