SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday claimed to have arrested three associates of militants belonging to LeT outfit in Bomai and Tarzoo areas of north Kashmir’s Sopore.

A police spokesman in a statement, “Today on 20-06-2020, Sopore Police/ 22/52 RR and 179/92 Bn CRPF in a joint operation at Bomie/Tarzoo arrested three militant associates of LeT outfit having their identity.”

“They have been identified as Shabir Ahmed Mir @molvi son of  Mohammad Sultan Mir, Mohammad Abbas Mir son of Abdul Rashid Mir a resident of Brath Kalan Sopore, Fahim Nabi Bhat @Doctor son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat a resident of Tarzoo Sopore,” said the spokesman.

“Incriminating material including one Pistol, two pistol magazines and 73 pistol rounds were recovered from their possession,” he said.

“Regarding the incident FIR under the relevant section of law registered in Police Station Bomai and investigation taken up,” said the spokesman.
