SRINAGAR: The counter insurgent forces on Thursday foiled an infiltration bid near the Line of Control in Kamalkote area Uri sector in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district by killing three militants.
Quoting an official the news agency KNO reported that three militants have been killed along the LoC in Uri sector, while trying to infiltrate into this side.
He said that the bodies of all three militants have been recovered along with arms and ammunition.
Meanwhile, Kashmir zone police on its official Twitter handle also confirmed the killing of three militants during an infiltration bid in Uri sector.
“Army and Baramulla Police neutralised 03 infiltrators (FTs) near Madiyan Nanak post in Kamalkote sector of Uri. More details to be followed,” police tweeted.
