SRINAGAR: Three militants were killed in an encounter at Nowgam area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Wednesday morning, an official said.
An official said that three militants have been killed so far in the encounter and search operation is going on.
He said that the gunfight broke out in Nowgam area on Wednesday following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Nowgam area of Srinagar.
