SRINAGAR: Army on Thursday claimed to have killed three militants in the Rampur sector near Uri on the Line of Control.

According to army the militants had recently crossed over from Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PaK).

The Indian Army has recovered 5 AK-47s, 8 pistols and 70 hand grenades from the terrorists killed in the operation, said government sources.

Earlier Army had claimed to foil an infiltration bid by militants in the LoC in the Uri sector and has been conducting search operations in a big way there since the last two three days.
