Three Pakistani Army men were killed and another injured due to “unprovoked” firing by the Indian army across the Line of Control at Rakhchikri Sector in Rawalkot, reported Radio Pakistan.

The report identified the slain Pakistani army men as Subedar Muhammad Riaz, Lance Hawaldar Azizullah and Sepoy Shahid Mansab.

The Radio Pakistan quoted the ISPR spokesman as having said that one Pakistani army man has also been injured due to the “Indian firing”.

The report quoted Pakistani ISPR spokesman said, “Pakistani Army responded to Indian firing in a befitting manner and there are reports of casualties inflicted in Indian soldiers.”

On Monday, the armies of the two countries have been exchanging heavy fire and shelling along the LoC in Poonch sector.

A minor girl, BSF officer and a woman were killed and ten persons including five army men injured in Pakistani shelling in Poonch district.
