Three persons including a girl committed suicide by hanging themselves at three separate places in Srinagar and Bandipora.
In Srinagar, a 15-year-old girl (name withheld) resident of Dara, Harwan hanged herself at her home. She was shifted to SMHS hospital where she breathed her last.
In another case a 24-year-old youth resident of Shah-e-Hamdan Colony Eidgah also hanged himself at his home. He was brought to SMHS Hospital Srinagar by his relatives where doctors declared him brought dead. “Srinagar police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in both the cases and investigation in this regard is going on,” police said.
In Bandipora, an 18-year-old boy resident of Peer Mohalla Arin hanged himself to death at his home. Badipora police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
