SRINAGAR: At least three residential houses were engulfed in a massive blaze in Dangiwacha Rafiabad, Baramulla, on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
“A significant fire erupted in a residential house in Dangiwacha, Rafiabad, Baramulla, last night. The Fire and Emergency Services promptly arrived at the scene with personnel and equipment, launching a rescue operation with the assistance of locals. After hours of relentless efforts, the fire was brought under control, but not before it destroyed at least three residential houses,” officials said.
F&ES official confirmed that three residential houses, including one double-storeyed and two single-storeyed, were gutted in the incident.
“The cause of the fire is believed to be a leakage from a domestic gas cylinder,” the official stated. (GNS)
