SRINAGAR: The throat-slit body of a Kokernag resident was discovered at his rented accommodation in the Amda Kadal area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar, officials said on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Showkat Ahmad Naikoo (24), son of Gh Mohd Naik, a resident of Ahlan Gadole, Kokernag.
Officials said that the body was found this afternoon. Police arrived at the scene and took the body into custody.
The post-mortem examination has been conducted, and a detailed investigation into the incident is underway, officials said.(KNO)
