Radio Pakistan quoted Pakistan’s acting National Assembly Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi as saying that the time has come to let Kashmiri people exercise self-determination.
Speaking at the global parliamentary summit at the UN headquarters, Abbasi said Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan needs to be settled “for peace and development in South Asia”.
Abbasi is the current and 18th Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, a lower house of Parliament of State of Pakistan.
