SRINAGAR: As Tina Dabi, the ex-wife of Athar Aamir Khan is taking the marriage vows to restart her life today, the media is busy celebrating the event. Tina topped IAS 2015 and fell in love with Khan, who was No 2 on the merit list. They married but separated later.
Now Tina is set to marry a fellow officer Dr Pradeep Gawande, a 2013 batch IAS officer.
Unlike her first marriage, which was a major event, this time Tina’s marriage is a private affair with family and close friends in attendance. However, Chief Minister Rajasthan is likely to attend the wedding. A reception party is expected to take place on April 22 in Rajasthan. Both, Ms Dabi and Dr Gawande are officers of the Rajasthan cadre.
While Ms Dabi is currently serving as the Joint Secretary in the Finance Department of Rajasthan, Gawande is the Director of the Department of Archaeology and Museum, Rajasthan.

Tina has a huge fan-flowing on social media and that is perhaps why the media has been giving it full coverage.
“We all know that the celebrated IAS officer Tina Dabi, who was the topper of UPSC batch 2015, will tie the knot to Pradeep Gawande today. But what we are curious about is whether Athar Amir Khan is attending the wedding,” Chandigarh based newspaper Tribune reported. “Tina, on April 7 posted a picture with Athar on Instagram. It looked a happy picture; however, there was no caption and comments on the post as they were limited by Tina.”
Ahead of Tina’s marriage, her erstwhile hubby Athar Amir Khan shared a couple of his pictures on Instagram creating a buzz on social media. In one, Khan is wearing a white shirt with a pair of blue denim. In another, he is on a Dal lake ghat.
These photographs were received well by his fans and liked by thousands. “None of the Bollywood actors can beat your smartness look????” one of his followers wrote. Added another: “Most handsome officer…Sir u look amazing……. Get married soon.”
In 2018, Tina married her batchmate Athar Aamir Khan. Their romance which lasted for around two years was a huge social media event. Finally, their wedding was a huge media event. However, it did not last long and the couple mutually decided to separate in 2020. They were finally divorced in 2021.
