SRINAGAR: Union Home Minister Amit Shah urged people to support Narendra Modi for a third term, citing his tough decisions like scrapping Article 370 and building the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

“In the last 10 years, PM Modi took several tough decisions without caring for the vote bank,” Shah asserted, emphasizing Modi’s bold actions such as the annulment of Article 370 and the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

Shah underscored the transformative vision of reelecting Modi, stating, “Making him PM for the third term means freedom from terrorism and Naxalism, freedom from poverty, making arrangements to give a platform to the youth so they could go hand in hand with the world and create a great India.”

He further emphasized Modi’s commitment to propelling India to global prominence, aiming to elevate its status to the third largest economy worldwide.

The senior BJP leader also lambasted the Congress party for its historical approach to contentious issues, asserting, “For 70 years, Congress kept the issue hanging for vote bank politics.”

Shah credited Modi’s decisive leadership for finally addressing long-standing issues like the construction of the Ram temple and revitalizing revered cultural sites such as the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and the Mahakal corridor.

Highlighting Modi’s steadfast approach to national security, Shah praised his swift and resolute response to terrorist threats, stating, “Within 10 days, Modi carried out surgical and air strikes to finish off terrorists on Pakistan soil.”

He contrasted Modi’s decisive actions with the perceived indecision during the tenure of the previous UPA government, citing instances of security lapses.

Moreover, Shah touted the significant economic strides made under Modi’s leadership, affirming, “PM Modi brought it to the fifth position in just 10 years. And I give you a guarantee, make him the prime minister for the third term and India will become the third largest economy.”

He expressed confidence in Modi’s widespread popularity and asserted the nation’s commitment to securing his reelection for a third term.
