With a promising increase in tourist inflow, Tourism department has yet again undertaken drive to catch attention of the international tourists towards Kashmir.

A team headed by the Minster for Tourism Ghulam Ahmad Mir Friday left for Saudi Arabia, where it intends to hold road shows in various cities of the Arab nation to attract them and other international tourists. The team includes Director Tourism Kashmir, Talat Parvaiz and Chief Executive Officer Gulmarg Development Authority Tariq Ahmad Ganie.

“We will be on a five day trip during which road shows would be conducted in Riyad, Jidah, Damam and other towns,” Talat Parvaiz told a local news agency, KNS on Friday. The team is scheduled to return on May 25.
