SRINAGAR: An old female tourist from Maharashtra died due to a cardiac arrest in the summer capital Srinagar on Monday.
Quoting an official source news agency KDC reported that the tourist identified as Sushma Girgankar wife of Mukand Girgankar, a resident of Maharashtra, who was staying at a houseboat in Dal Lake complained of chest pain and was shifted to SMHS hospital.
However, doctors, after examining the old lady at the facility, declared him dead with the reason cited as a heart attack, the official said.
