SRINAGAR: A 63-year-old tourist from Maharashtra succumbed to a heart attack while experiencing a snow bike ride in the Sonamarg area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Thursday, officials reported.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that Manohar Motiram Rajani (63) from Solapur, Maharashtra, was enjoying a snow bike ride at Tajwqs glacier.
He added that Manohar lost consciousness during the ride, and despite immediate efforts to revive him, he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Primary Health Centre in Sonamarg.
Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
