SRINAGAR: Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gurez on Tuesday issued a traffic advisory for April 1, stating that subject to fair weather and road conditions, vehicular movement on the Bandipora–Gurez road will be allowed from both sides as per fixed timings.
According to the advisory, traffic from TCP Tragbal will commence at 9:00 AM with a cut-off time of 1:00 PM, while movement from TCP Kanzalwan will begin at 3:00 PM and close at 4:00 PM.
The SDM said that no heavy motor vehicles (HMVs) will be permitted, and the use of anti-skid chains is mandatory for all vehicles. Traffic will only be allowed after confirmation of road conditions by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO).
Passengers and drivers have been advised to confirm the road status before undertaking their journey by contacting District Control Room Bandipora or PCR Bandipora.
Authorities have urged commuters to strictly follow guidelines and cooperate with the administration to ensure safe travel. (KNC)
