SRINAGAR: Traffic on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway was suspended on Saturday due to a landslide along the highway in Banihal.
An official said that Srinagar-Jammu National Highway is blocked since 3 am due to a landslide at Shabanbas Banihal.
He said that one oil tanker stuck at the site of the landslide.
“The efforts are afoot to ensure early restoration of traffic as the agencies concerned have pressed men and machinery on a job to clear the vital road,” an official said.
