According to an official communiqué from Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic Rural Kashmir, to ensure smooth vehicular traffic on Srinagar-Jammu Highway-1A the Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) (bound for Jammu from valley) are required to cross Qazigund between 8am to 3pm, and beyond this time no vehicle shall be allowed to proceed for onwards journey towards Jammu.
For Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMVs) the cut off time to cross Qazigund is from 9am to 2pm.
