Train service resumed on Monday after remaining suspended for a day following killing of two militants in Yaripora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.

A fresh advisory was received last night from police to resume train service in the south Kashmir today and railway authorities are acting on the advice of state administration, a senior railway official told Kashmir Life.

Therefore, he said, trains will chug of Budgam-Srinagar-Islamabad -Qazigund in south Kashmir to Banihal in Jammu region.
