Train services resumed between Baramulla and Banihal after remaining suspended for four days in view of killing of two civilians and strike call given by the resistance leadership on August 15.

The service resumed in southern parts of Kashmir after remaining suspended for four days while trains will chug in northern parts of Kashmir after two days.

All trains will run today in the Kashmir valley, a railway official said.

He said the services resumed on Budgam-Srinagar in central Kashmir, Islamabad and Qazigund in south to Banihal in Jammu region after remaining suspended for four days for security reasons.

He said train services between Srinagar-Badgam in central Kashmir to Baramulla in northern Kashmir also resumed for remaining suspended for two days.
