Srinagar
Train services in Kashmir valley have been resumed on Sunday after a daylong suspension.
The service was suspended on Saturday due to a shutdown call by Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) against the desecration of Jamia Masjid, forces highhandedness and civilian killing in Kashmir.
“We have resumed train service and all trains will operate as per schedule in the Valley following fresh advisory from police last night,” a senior railway official said
This was the first time when train service was suspended in June while the service was suspended for 14 times partially and fully in the valley in May.
