Train services suspended on Srinagar-Banihal track on Monday

Train services between Srinagar and Banihal were suspended on Monday.

Officials said that the railway authorities have suspended train services between Srinagar and Banihal section “as a precautionary measure” after two minor cousins were crushed to death last evening at Puchal area of Pulwama, district.

Two minors were crushed under the train which was on its way from Srinagar to Banihal at Puchal village in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday evening.

They were identified as Muntazir Ahmad (10) son of Nasir Ahmad Shah and Faizan Ahmad (9) son of Raj Mohammad Shah, both residents of Puchal.
