A civilian was critically injured on Sunday in clashes with Government forces in Wagad area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The civilian was identified as Manzoor Ahmad Dar 25, son of Assadulla Dar, a resident of Gang Tral received bullet injury on his face near Wagad crossing.
Doctors at the Tral Sub-district hospital said he had sustained a bullet injury and he has been referred to Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Reports said that forces opened fire indiscriminately on the civilians during clashes.
Earlier today, police said that a top Jaish militant identified as Adnan Bhai of Pakistan was killed in the gunfight that broke out early Sunday in Aripal village in Tral.
