geelani-pic-savePaying tributes to the three youth Mohammad Ishaq Parray, Asif Ahmad Mir and Ashiq Hussain who were killed in Dadsar, Tral gunfight, chairperson All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Syed Ali Geelani Thursday said that “our brave hearts are sacrificing their precious lives to end our slavery and miseries” and thereby put a heavy responsibility upon us to carry forward their mission at any cost and in every ways.

While commenting over the role of UNO, chairperson of his faction of Hurriyat said that this world institution is responsible for the all the “miseries” and the “genocide” which India is carrying out in Kashmir because the Kashmir issue is one of the oldest pending dispute present in the UN charter and it is the very much silence of this institute which is making India to behave so arrogantly and rudely with the innocent human lives in this troubled region.

In a statement issued here, he said that if the UNO would have fulfilled its responsibility vis-à-vis Kashmir, it could have halted the “bloodshed’ in Kashmir but unfortunately this institution had so far failed to fulfill its professional duties.

Geelani said that the prevailing political uncertainty and the instability in Kashmir is taking heavy toll on the precious human lives and the responsibility of this “bloodshed” is on the Indian rulers who instead of respecting the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people are reluctant over their rigidness and are using “military power” for continuing their “illegal occupation” here.

On the directions of Geelani, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat district president Pulwama Syed Mohi-ud-din Andrabi, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Bashir Ahmad Qurashi and other district officials visited Dadsara and participated in the funeral prayers of the “martyrs” and extended the condolence message of Geelani to their families.

While paying tributes to the “martyrs”, the “pro-freedom” leader said that we are indebted to the “martyrs” and we have a responsibility that we have to be loyal and honest to that mission for which these “brave hearts” sacrifice their lives.

Geelani said, “That the Kashmiri nation had peacefully struggled for 40 long years against the Indian forced military occupation but India didn’t listen to those peaceful voices and instead they used their military might to suppress them. India can’t change the reality of Kashmir issue with its rigid and stubborn policies but lingering of this dispute is troubling the entire South Asian region and millions of people are suffering due to this.”
