A complete shutdown is being observed for the third consecutive day in Tral area of Pulwama district of south Kashmir to mourn the killing of former Hizbul Mujahideen militant Mushtaq Ahmad Chopan on Wednesday.

Reports said all shops and businesses establishments remained closed and traffic was off the roads in Tral town and adjoining areas for the third consecutive day.

Mushtaq was killed in a grenade attack near police station Tral on Monday afternoon.

Meanwhile, people continue to pour in from different areas of south Kashmir in the house of slain Mushtaq’s to express solidarity with his family.
